S 1  Pictured May 2007.
Paste obviously not round but the colour is a good bright orange.
The faulty paste meant that the seedling was put outside awaiting a convenient time to be sent to the tip.
Ten rainy days later the plant stood unabashed and unblemished, withstanding the heavy rain and occassional hot midday sun better than the border auriculas.
The plant was given a reprieve and crossed with seedling 603.
